I myself am lucky to get a wreath on my door. However, I'm trying to be better. (Help me!) In the Philippines Christmas celebrations starts September 1st. (Those Pinoys do love a reason to party!) I'm all for that!

ReplyDeletei start way too early unfortunately. we are busy booking performers and activities for the kiddos here at my library, and it spills over onto home. by the end of it, i am turning green with every ghost sighting.

I put up my "fall" decor last week, but I think Halloween will wait until the last week of Sept - I haven't gotten that one down yet. As for Christmas - we decorate the day/weekend after Thanksgiving. I would do it earlier, but for the last three or so years we have had Thanksgiving dinner at our house. I just turn my jack-o-lanterns around so that it looks festive. I would like to listen to Christmas Music right now (and sometimes I do in my car), but usually I wait until Nov. 1st!
ReplyDeleteI say Fall decorations start in the next few weeks. Christmas - the day after Thanksgiving. I feel bad for Thanksgiving, it kind of gets looked over.
ReplyDeleteI honestly just suggested your facebook page to 39 of my friends. I was hesitant...I don't want more entrants into these contests!!!

I love decorating for Halloween/Thanksgiving. As soon as school starts, definitely! As for Christmas - it's always the day after Thanksgiving. :)

Popping in and following from New Friend Fridays!
ReplyDeleteI always wait until Oct 1 for Halloween, and the day after Thanksgiving for Christmas. I do like putting up Fall decorations earlier though, and then adding in spookier stuff for Halloween.
I'm already getting out the Fall decorations! I just can't seem to hold myself back this year. I usually decorate for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving. Thanks for the giveaway, the pumpkins are precious!

So I am just sad I am so far away now that you have started this. I guess you can ship things right? And I will have a new house in December that will need all sorts of decorating right away... I have to wait until like Dec. 15th! Yes, that is late! Everything in storage, so I will need something to put out! p.s. fan of facebook, and now following this blog!
ReplyDeleteI start early in my house ~ after all, if I like the way it looks, who cares what anyone thinks? I've already started my Halloween craft projects, too, and look forward to starting Christmas in a few weeks. These pumpkins would look just great in my living room! :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm.... well in my opinion it's never too early to start decorating. I have already gotten my "fall" stuff out and thinking of putting up my halloween decorations... so those darling pumpkins would go great with my decor... so pick me!:)
ReplyDeleteFor christmas... I like to have my christmas tree up by thanksgiving, call me crazy but hey... I love christmas!:)

and... of course i am a follower and your facebook friend...
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is ever too early to start decorating. I decorate by the season, so right now I have my fall stuff up, I'll put my Halloween decor out usually the last week of September, but it coordinates with my fall decor. Christmas, I have everything out the weekend after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeletePs I just follwed on facebook and I'm one of your blog follower, I ADORE the pumpkins :)
I restrain myself from decorating for Halloween until Oct. 1st. Christmas decorating is Dec 1st. Thanks for the great giveaway!
